Photoshopping for war

The photographer Adnan Hajj, that was also involved in the Qana photo controversy is apparently at it again, this time with the following photo:

It is obvious that there is something amiss in this photo, the repeating patterns in the smoke and upon closer examination buildings are being duplicated as well. This doesn't bode well for the photograph and it will be interesting to see how Reuters who is responsible for publishing the photo will react to this...

Reuters have three options now as I see it:
  1. Apologize for being duped and getting rid of Adnan Hajj
  2. Show conclusively that we are all mistaken and that the photo is genuine (and pigs can fly)
  3. Act as if nothing have happened and lose credibility as the story spreads even wider
